The URHS Home Ownership Success Program™ is a structured Homeownership system administered by Urban Roots Home Solutions. It connects qualified Homebuyers, Property Owners, Investors, community resources, and appropriate professionals through one organized process designed to create successful long-term Homeownership.
The program is built on four principles: protect the Investor, empower the Homeowner, strengthen the Neighborhood, and create a better path to Homeownership.
The purpose is not simply to help someone receive the keys to a house. It is to prepare the Homebuyer, clearly explain the responsibilities of Homeownership, establish understandable property and payment terms, protect the Investor’s position, coordinate the transaction, and continue supporting the Homeowner after closing.
The program is not credit-based. URHS does not evaluate, approve, deny, or disqualify a Homebuyer based on credit history or credit score. A Homebuyer may qualify for an available home by meeting the applicable income requirements. The education, preparation, and continued support provided to the Homebuyer through the program are offered at no cost.
Every Homebuyer begins with education.
Before moving forward with a property, the Homebuyer receives clear information about the costs, responsibilities, documentation, maintenance, insurance, taxes, payments, and long-term realities connected with owning a home.
This gives the Homebuyer an opportunity to understand the commitment before accepting it. Questions can be addressed early, responsibilities can be explained, and the Homebuyer can make an informed decision without being pushed into a home or agreement they do not understand.
URHS does not provide credit repair or conduct a credit evaluation because credit is not used to determine eligibility for the program. Buyer Readiness focuses on income requirements, required documentation, household needs, and preparation for the practical responsibilities of Homeownership.
Qualified Homebuyers may be connected with available homes offered through participating Property Owners, Investors, and approved program partners.
The goal is to identify a home that aligns with the household’s needs, applicable income requirements, payment ability, and long-term Homeownership goals. Property availability will vary, and participation in the program does not guarantee that a particular home will be available.
Urban Roots Home Solutions administers and coordinates the program. URHS does not represent itself as the owner, seller, lender, or titleholder of every participating property. The Property Owner or Investor remains responsible for the property and transaction terms applicable to that home.
Before closing, the Homebuyer receives information explaining the property terms, payment expectations, responsibilities, documentation, and closing process.
The program is designed to prevent confusion by establishing expectations before the transaction is completed. Homebuyers should understand what they are agreeing to, what payments will be required, who is responsible for specific obligations, and what happens after closing.
Investors and Property Owners receive an organized process built around clear terms, dependable documentation, established payment expectations, and recorded protection. Creating a meaningful opportunity for the Homebuyer does not require removing reasonable protection for the Investor.
Successful Homeownership works best when both sides understand the agreement and the responsibilities are clearly established.
The URHS structure is designed to transfer record title to the Homebuyer while preserving Investor security through a properly recorded mortgage or other attorney-approved security instrument.
This differs from arrangements in which the seller retains legal title until the agreement is paid in full. Holding record title may better position an owner-occupant to meet the ownership requirements of certain repair, rehabilitation, and assistance programs.
The exact transaction documents and closing requirements will depend on the property, participants, jurisdiction, and recommendations of the appropriate professionals. Legal documents, title work, insurance, lending matters, and closing services must be handled by the appropriate qualified or licensed professionals when required.
URHS coordinates the process and maintains program standards. It does not replace an attorney, lender, mortgage professional, title company, insurance provider, appraiser, licensed real estate professional, or other regulated service provider.
The program relationship continues after the Homebuyer receives the keys.
Homeowners may receive continued education, annual reviews, resource information, milestone tracking, and connections to community programs or qualified professionals. This continued support helps Homeowners remain informed about their responsibilities, prepare for property needs, and make better decisions concerning their homes.
URHS may also help Homeowners identify repair assistance, rehabilitation programs, grants, utility programs, and other resources that may be available in their community.
Each outside program establishes its own eligibility requirements. URHS participation does not guarantee that a Homeowner will receive a grant, repair assistance, rehabilitation funding, financing, or approval from an outside provider.
Failure to qualify for an outside assistance program does not disqualify a Homebuyer from obtaining a home through the URHS Home Ownership Success Program™ when the applicable income requirements are met.
The URHS Home Ownership Success Program™ brings Homebuyer opportunity, Investor protection, education, documentation, coordination, and long-term support into one system.
When Homebuyers understand the responsibility they are accepting, Investors have clearly documented protection, and Homeowners remain connected with education and resources, the opportunity for long-term success becomes stronger.
Successful Homeowners care for their properties, establish stability, build equity, and become part of the future of their neighborhoods. That strengthens individual households, protects participating investments, and contributes to stronger communities.
That is the purpose of the URHS Home Ownership Success Program™: a better structure, a clearer process, and a more responsible path to Homeownership.
Protect the Investor. Empower the Homeowner. Strengthen the Neighborhood. Create a Better Path to Homeownership.™
